Neighbours heard “blood-curdling screams” as a 16-year-old father murdered his child son by biting his nostril and “violently swinging or shaking him,” a courtroom has been informed.

The teenage defendant inflicted devastating accidents together with a cranium fracture, a damaged leg and rib fractures on the seven-week-old toddler through the “deliberate” killing, a jury heard at Winchester Crown Court docket heard. 

Now aged 17, the younger father is on trial for homicide following the alleged assault in Southampton, Hampshire, within the early hours 11 February.

The accidents taken collectively are consistent with a violent shaking or swinging, or certainly each.”

The chunk mark on the child’s nostril additionally matched the daddy’s dental prints, the jury heard.

The courtroom heard the child’s mom, now aged 19, stated she had not sought assist as a result of she didn’t wish to lose her son or accomplice.
